Materials required for each of the 5 Group Presentation cases. This page includes both the primary documentaries (marked as such) and some optional videos for each case. The optional videos are highly recommended, and it is also highly recommended that you do further research of your own in order to flesh out your discussion.

### Seconds from Disaster - Space Shuttle Challenger (Primary source)

Episode of 'Seconds from Disaster' dealing with the Space Shuttle Challenger. This is the primary documentary for students who have chosen the Challenger case for the Group Presentation.

### Challenger: 25 Years Later (Optional extra source for Challenger case)

Allan McDonald (author of 'Truth, Lies and O-Rings') on the Challenger disaster (as discussed in Chapter 1 of the textbook). This is an optional, but recommended, extra source for the Challenger case.

Documentary dealing with the Deepwater Horizon oil spill disaster. This is the primary documentary for students who have chosen the Deepwater Horizon case for the Group Presentation.

### The Deepwater Horizon - Seconds from Disaster (Optional extra source for Deepwater Horizon case)

Episode of Seconds from Disaster focusing on the causes of the initial explosion of the oil rig. This is an optional, but very recommended, extra source for the Deepwater Horizon case.

### ICE Derailment At Eschede (Primary source)

A full episode of 'Seconds from Disaster' dealing with the Eschede train derailment (discussed in Chapter 6.1 of the textbook). This is the primary documentary for students who have chosen the ICE Derailment at Eschede case for the Group Presentation.

### How Manhattan escaped tragedy (Primary source)

Part 1 of an excellent 30 minute BBC documentary about William LeMessurier and Citicorp Tower. This is discussed in the textbook chapter 3.9 (Virtue Ethics). Parts 2 and 3 follow on at the end of the video. This is the primary documentary for students who have chosen the Citicorp (How Manhattan Escaped Tragedy) case for the Group Presentation.
